Pre-Orientation - American Collegiate

Plan and Prepare

Designed specifically for international students who are starting or continuing their studies in the US this fall, Pre-Orientation familiarizes students with US university classrooms and campus life, while also boosting English language skills. Students will still be required to participate in their university’s Orientation programs when they arrive on campus.

Learn from Home

Over four weeks, study from home and build relationships with instructors and fellow students via American Collegiate’s award-nominated Live technology, which offers more engagement than a traditional classroom. Ask questions, collaborate, and learn in real time. Stay in touch with classmates and receive guidance from local advisors (including local language support).

*Pre-Orientation enrollment is open exclusively to students who have been accepted into a first-year program at Shorelight universities. If you have not yet been admitted to a Shorelight university, please reach out to an enrollment counselor for next steps. Please note that pre-orientation will not replace your program orientation. All students will participate in orientation once they arrive on campus.
