The university will process your I-20 and email it to you as soon as possible – please expect a minimum of 10 business days. As soon as you have your I-20, please Apply for Your Visa.

After you receive the electronic copy of your I-20, complete the following steps before booking your visa appointment:

1. Schedule a free visa information and preparation session with your personal Enrollment Advisor.
2. Check that the details on your I-20 are correct (including your date of birth) and make sure your name is the same as it appears on your passport.
3. Prepare the documents you will need to take to the embassy when attending your visa interview.

1. Immunization requirement. This is a mandatory form for all students. Email your completed and signed American Collegiate Incoming Student Health Form to ACLA Student Services. Do not send only your health records. You must include the American Collegiate Incoming Student Health Form signed by a medical professional.
2. FERPA Disclosure Form. (Acknowledgment of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) This is an online form submission. No email to ACLA Student Services necessary. – If you experience any technical issues with submitting the FERPA Disclosure Form, please contact ACLA Student Services for additional assistance.
3.  ACLA Liability Waiver. This is a mandatory form for all students. If you did not submit this form with your American Collegiate, LA (ACLA) application, please email your completed and signed ACLA Liability Waiver to ACLA Student Services.

1. Under 18 Guardianship Assignment form If you did not provide copies of the following documents with your American Collegiate, LA application, you will need to email the final official documents to ACLA Student Services as soon as possible:

• Final Secondary School Transcripts* (with graduation date)
• Diploma Completion Certificate*

• Any Official Exam Reports (ex. AP, IB, or A-Levels) if applicable
• SAT or ACT Official Score Report if applicable

Incoming American Collegiate, LA students are required to take a math placement exam before they arrive to campus. Here are the instructions on how to take the exam.

1. Click here to access the ALEKS Math Placement Exam.
2. Use the ACLA class code that was emailed to you with the list of tasks to complete prior to arrival.
3. Students have approximately 1.5-2 hours, without break, to complete the exam.
4. Students have three (3) attempts but must complete 3-5 hours of modules (i.e., lessons) within the ALEKS platform before they can open the 2nd or 3rd attempt.\
5.  Results are instantly calculated upon completion and successfully saving their exam.
